Inver Re, the international reinsurance broking division of The Ardonagh Group, has appointed Gareth Davies, as Chairman of Parametrics, with effect from May 2023.
After more than three years at Price Forbes & Partners, where he most recently held the position of Executive Director with a focus on parametric weather and catastrophe solutions, Davies joins the reinsurance broker.
Davies also focused on other alternative risk management strategies, mining investments, projects, and operations, renewable energy investments, projects, and operations, as well as credit risk insurance and political and security risk insurance throughout his time with Price Forbes.
Early in his career, Davies worked for Tysers for more than two years, concentrating once more on parametrics, credit and political risk insurance, renewable energy, mining, and metals.
Between 2011 and 2018, Davies worked for JLT Specialty and RFIB Group prior to this.
