Emma Loynes appointed CEO of Lloyd’s Asia

Subject to regulatory approval, Emma Loynes has been appointed as the new Country Manager for Lloyd’s in Singapore. She will also assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lloyd’s Asia effective from May 1st

Mark Dyson, who held the position of CEO of Lloyd’s Asia on an interim basis since mid-January due to Thomas Haddrill’s retirement, is replaced by Loynes in the position.

She joined the market in 2018, and she has 25 years of expertise. Currently, she is Lloyd’s Head of Market Development Transformation.

At RSA Insurance earlier in her career, Loynes held a number of top leadership positions, including Director of Commercial Operations and Head of Commercial Schemes.

On LinkedIn, Dyson commented on the hiring of Loynes, saying: “I’ve handled this function in addition to the regional day job for the past few months and while it is a tough duty with a lot of difficulties, I can say there is also a lot of fun to be had and a truly wonderful team to work with.

I am eager to welcome Emma to the team, as are the rest of the local and regional team members stationed in Singapore.
