AXIS Capital appoints a Chief Data & Analytics Officer
Rebecca O’Kill has been appointed as the new Chief Data & Analytics Officer by AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, effective immediately. Rebecca will be based in London and report to Dan Draper, the chief underwriting officer of AXIS.
Rebecca will be in charge of advancing AXIS’s worldwide data strategy and governance in this position. In addition to managing AXIS’ analytics operational model, her duties will also involve working with the company to provide business intelligence and insights that support the underwriting procedure.
“Rebecca is a proven global leader in data and analytics who brings a deep understanding of driving value in specialty insurance, informed by her actuarial expertise and background,” stated Dan Draper, the AXIS Chief Underwriting Officer.

After working for Beazley for 16 years, O’Kill joins AXIS. During that time, she held a number of leadership positions with increasing degrees of responsibility, including Interim Chief Data Officer and Head of Actuarial Analytics.
