Matthew Thinnes has been hired by WTW to lead its Direct and Facultative team, which is based in North America, in the areas of energy and construction property. He will be based in New York.
Thinnes joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in the field. He most recently worked for SCOR as Vice President and North American Construction Manager. He previously held the position of VP – Construction Engineering Underwriter.
Thinnes held the office of VP, Underwriting Officer at Liberty International Underwriters for slightly over a year prior to joining SCOR.
He has also worked for Swiss Re, the largest reinsurance company in the world, where he spent nearly five years as VP, Senior Property Facultative Underwriter.
