Allianz Partners UK & Ireland names Patricia Moon CEO
Patricia Moon has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Allianz Partners UK & Ireland, beginning March 1, 2023. Moon, who formerly served as CEO of Allianz Partners Japan, has substantial industry expertise and understanding to her new position.
Moon succeeds Tim Tozer as CEO, who resigned from the position on February 28, 2023. Tozer, who has served as CEO of Allianz Partners UK and Ireland since September 2018, will become non-executive chairman. Mike Webb is replaced. In his new capacity, Tozer’s broad knowledge will continue to enhance the UK and Ireland business.
Moon has been with Allianz for over 20 years, working in four different countries in various business divisions and functions. Moon has been the CEO of Allianz Partners Japan since 2019 and has effectively expanded the company’s operations in the country, focusing on employee engagement to boost long-term product and digital capabilities.
Moon highlighted her excitement about the new position, saying, “I am delighted to now lead the UK & Ireland business as CEO.” I am enthusiastic about our company and the influence it has on the lives of our consumers.
She highlighted the Allianz Partners UK & Ireland team’s dedication to assisting clients in tough situations, whether they are traveling, at home, or away from home. Moon underscored the company’s aim of providing customers and business partners with excellent experiences and security.
Moon formerly worked as Global Head of HR for Allianz Partners Group in Paris, where she was instrumental in developing the company’s global HR strategy and coordinating its execution across more than 30 organizations worldwide. She also worked with Allianz SE in Munich and Allianz Portugal in various capacities.
Alexis Obligi, regional CEO for Western Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa (MEA), will report to Moon. Patricia was greeted warmly by Obligi, who expressed confidence in her capacity to lead Allianz Partners UK’s growth trajectory in Ireland. He also congratulated Tozer for his major contribution to the company’s progress during his term, as well as his ongoing support as Non-Executive Chairman.
