Natasha Scotland Courcy has been named Chief Executive Officer of Athene Life Re Ltd (ALRe), a reinsurance subsidiary of Athene Holding Ltd.
In addition to Scotland Courcy’s nomination, Brad Molitor has been designated President and will continue to serve as the Group’s Chief Actuary. Molitor was previously the Chief Financial Officer at Athene Bermuda. Fergus Daly will remain Chief Financial Officer of Athene Life Re.
Scotland Courcy will continue to lead ALRe’s Bermuda office and will be responsible for designing and implementing business operations and policies that promote the company’s culture.
She comes to her new position with over a decade of experience as a corporate attorney. Her prior experience includes ten years at ALRe, where she most recently worked as general counsel and chief operating officer.
She is also the Chair of Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR), the group that represents Bermuda’s long-term insurers and reinsurers.
