Cirrata Group, names Naveen Anand as its new president.
The insurance distribution branch of Ambac Financial Group, a holding company for financial services, has named Naveen Anand as its President.
According to the business, Anand, a seasoned executive in the property and liability insurance market, would bring a wealth of knowledge and connections to his new position.
Anand answers directly to Claude LeBlanc, Ambac’s president and chief executive. Growing the Cirrata Group and enhancing its position in the specialized insurance industry are among his main duties.
As a seasoned P&C executive with a broad area of knowledge and solid business ties, Naveen is a great option to lead Cirrata. LeBlanc said, “We’re pleased to have him on the club.
Anand, who has over 30 years of expertise in the insurance industry, is based in New York. He spent two years as Group President of Players Health before joining Ambac, where he also held a position on the board of directors.
Anand formerly held the positions of president and chief executive officer of Hallmark Financial Services for six years and CEO of the Americas and global chief operating officer of Torus Insurances for four years. Additionally, he worked at CNA for seven years, holding roles with increasing responsibility.
Anand managed the $3.3 billion Commercial Lines business across all segments over the final three years of his tenure at CNA as President and Chief Underwriting Officer of Commercial Lines.
