Argenta appoints Rosemary Beaver and Nigel Meyer
Rosemary Beaver and Nigel Meyer have been appointed non-executive directors of Argenta Syndicate Management Limited (ASML), a division of Argenta Holdings Limited.
Rosemary Beaver is characterized by Argenta as an accomplished executive with a proven track record in the international re/insurance sector.
She is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Risk Committee of Newline Group and has previously held various roles in governance, regulation, and business development.

Prior positions held by Rosemary Beaver include senior adviser for the Financial Reporting Council, head of global regulatory affairs at Lloyd’s, and Master of the Worshipful Company of Insurers.
Nigel Meyer has over 25 years of insurance expertise and has held a number of prominent positions, including group chief financial officer at Canopius and group chief operating officer at Brit Insurance.
Nigel Meyer is presently has non-executive directorships with First Central Insurance Management and AmTrust Europe, where he also chairs the audit committee.

According to Argenta, Meyer is a chartered accountant by trade, which gives him knowledge in P&C, specialty insurance, and overseeing the finances and operations of major enterprises. Meyer also has an understanding of audits and risk. Rosemary and Nigel’s extensive and highly relevant experience will be a significant benefit to the Board moving ahead, according to John Whiter, chair of the ASML Board.
