Alta Signa welcomes a new Technical Director
Alta Signa has increased its cyber team with the appointment of Mauro Marongiu as technical director of cyber underwriting. He will be in charge of overseeing the wholesale and medium-sized European market as well as the Italian cyber business.
Having previously worked as a cyber security underwriter for Satec and as an IT security professional, analyst, and consultant at corporations like UniCredit Services, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Capgemini, he brings a wealth of technical expertise to the table.

Due to the global Covid 19 pandemic and evolving workplaces, the dynamics of the cyber market have evolved dramatically in recent years. “This is heavily dominated by a shift in focus to ransomware-related vulnerabilities, which pose an increasing challenge for the underwriting community going forward,” Marongiu added.
