Tobias Winkler has been appointed by Delvag Versicherungs-AG (Delvag) as a member of its executive board and the management board of Albatros Versicherungsdienste GmbH (Albatros). Winkler will take over for Lorenz Hanelt, who is retiring.
Together with Martin Schmatz, Winkler will make up Delvag’s executive board. He will be in charge of sales, marketing, auditing, reinsurance, aviation, and marine markets. The Albatros management board will be completed by Schmatz, Winkler, and Martin Gary.
In the insurance sector, Winkler has more than 15 years of expertise. He has been the senior director and chief underwriting officer for the newly reorganized and expanded underwriting division of Delvag’s insurance and reinsurance division since July 2020.
Hanelt oversaw the data-based reorganization of the product portfolios and the future-focused realignment of the sales divisions of Delvag and Albatro during his five years on the management board.
Roland Busch, chairman of the Delvag supervisory board, commented on the changes to the management board, saying: “On behalf of the entire supervisory board, I would like to thank Lorenz Hanelt for this outstanding achievement.” We send him our warmest wishes for a successful retirement.
