Jonah Tomno has been appointed CEO and Principal Officer of Star Discover Insurance, an insurtech company established in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2021.
J. Tomno has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry where he worked with several Kenyan companies including CIC Insurance, Africa Merchant Assurance, and Midline Insurance Brokers.
The new CEO has a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance Option) from the University of Nairobi and an Executive MBA from Moi University (Kenya). He is also a member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya and the Chartered Insurance Institute of London.
