Tysers, an independent Lloyd’s broker, has appointed Mark Moore as Director to head its Energy Division as it seeks to grow its activities in the industry.
Moore joins Tysers from Primassure where he was Head of Natural Resources and has over 30 years of expertise in claims and broking.
Prior to creating a global Energy account with a focus on Africa, the North Sea, and Latin America during his time at Primassure, he assisted the company in joining the Lloyd’s market.
Moore is a skilled energy broker with extensive technical expertise in the field, particularly in deep-water drilling and building projects. On some of the largest upstream development projects to be listed on the London market, he has also collaborated closely with top market and energy specialists.
After beginning his career at C E Heath, he moved on to WTW, where he spent nearly six years in senior roles in the Energy Teams, and served at AAA for six and a half years.
“It’s excellent news that Mark has joined the Tysers Team,” said Clive Buesnel, CEO of Tysers. His hiring demonstrates our dedication to acquiring leaders in the field to bolster our teams and pursue expansion possibilities.
Moore’s expertise has been lauded by Tysers’ Managing Director for Maritime & Aviation, Tom Wilson, who also stated that Moore is ideally situated to continue the company’s strategic expansion into the Energy division.
Moore expressed his excitement to be a part of Tysers’ future in response to the news of his appointment. Tysers is a company with a solid track record and reputation that now occupies a distinct position among its competitors in the market as a result of the acquisition by AUB. Together, Tysers and AUB’s talent and experience will enable us to create a remarkable business.
