Jennifer D’Arcy has been appointted as Facultative Reinsurance EVP by Acrisure Re

Jennifer D’Arcy has been appointed as executive vice president of Acrisure Re’s facultative reinsurance division, the re/insurance subsidiary of insurance broker Acrisure.

Jenifer will continue to develop Acrisure Re’s FAC strategy for North America in her new position, which is situated in London. She will also oversee and develop Marine FAC products globally.

“We continue to hire experienced talent within the facultative space, and Jennifer is perfectly well positioned to support our growth ambitions in London across our key lines of business and out of the U.S. where Acrisure has a significant footprint,” said Ghassan Mansour, Managing Director and Head of Facultative Reinsurance at Acrisure Re.

Jennifer joins Acrisure Re from Ed Broking, where she served as Head of Facultative Reinsurance for more than three years, and brings with her more than 21 years of expertise in the sector. She held comparable positions prior to joining Ed Broking at Price Forbes, where she spent nearly six years, as well as RK Harrison, Gibbs Hartley Cooper, HSBC, and Willis.

According to D’Arcy: “Acrisure Re’s FAC team has effectively positioned itself as the go-to independent broker for cedants and strategic broker alliances within the international facultative arena. I am excited to collaborate closely with Ghassan and the rest of the team and am thrilled to have the chance to be a part of the Acrisure Re adventure.
