WTW Acquires CFS to Expand Trade Credit Services on US West Coast

WTW, the global advisory, broking, and results establishment, has officially acquired CFS International Inc. (CFS), a trade credit insurance provider grounded on the US West Coast, further integrating the company into the Willis network.

Innovated in 1990, CFS has erected a character for offering acclimatized trade credit insurance and trade finance results to transnational guests. In an increasingly complex and competitive transnational business, CFS has distinguished itself through a customer-centric approach that enhances global competitiveness via robust credit threat operation strategies.

According to WTW, the accession underlines the company’s continued focus on expanding its capabilities in the trade credit insurance sector. This strategic purchase also broadens WTW’s geographic footprint, establishing a strong functional presence in the western US

Scott Burnett, Head of Corporate Combinations & Accessions at WTW’s Risk & Broking division, remarked

“ This marks our alternate trade credit-affiliated accession in just two months. Following our earlier purchase of Global Commercial Credit, which expanded our influence in the Midwest, CFS allows us to consolidate our customer support on the West Coast. It complements our strategy to specialize across diligence and strengthen our public service capacity. ”

He added that this accession affirms WTW’s commitment to investing in high-growth broking businesses and spanning its global trade credit immolations.

Ralph Clumeck, President of CFS, participated

“ After over three decades in the trade credit insurance industry, I am proud to advertise CFS’s accession by WTW — a move that ensures our guests gain access to broader requests, a more expansive suite of results, and the support of a encyclopedically admired establishment. ”

Clumeck expressed confidence in the transition, noting that his successor, Bridget Clumeck, is set to lead the company into its coming phase while maintaining the high service norms guests have come to calculate on.
